]]> This pattern is crocheted in a spiral with one length of yarn. The fin and tentacles are the same on each squid, with variation in body. Each squid requires approximately 3/4 oz (20 g) worsted weight yarn, an F/5 hook (3.75mm), two 12-15mm safety eyes, and a small quantity of fiberfill.

Stitches and techniques assumed: magic ring, chain, single crochet and decrease, slip stitch, skipping stitches, single crochet in front loop or back loop only, chaining out and stitching back along chain, sewing up openings.
