The bulk of the 3-page pdf, however, is general advice for working with embroidery floss that could be applied to many other patterns, including working with specialty floss (satin or metallic). ]]> Each snowflake requires less than 1/5 oz (6 g) worsted weight yarn and an F/5 hook (3.75mm). This pattern includes the Quick Easy Snowflake and variation blogged previously, with four additional snowflakes.

Stitches and techniques assumed: magic ring, slip knot, chain, slip stitch, stitching into chain ring, single crochet, chaining out and stitching back along chain, skipping stitches.
