Ooh, it&#039;s much smoother with them all facing the same way.  I wonder if you were taught that way because you were young and the person thought doing all the half-crosses first would lead to forgotten top stitches and/or miscounting of the pattern.]]></description>

I didn&#039;t know that!  I was always taught to complete each X as I went along.]]></description>
